B&W PV1 sub

Anyone have a PV1 sub or spent any time with one? I've been waiting to hear some feedback about it, but haven't seen comments or reviews anywhere.

All B&W FPM speakers including the PV1 are hard to find reviews for. The PV1 is a great sub, but cant be compared to any other becuase of its stylish design. If you are not buying it for 50% looks then you money may be better spent on something else.

The only comparison you can make are products from B&O (which goes for twice as much as the PV1 BTW), as there are no other subs that are really stylish.

Look at this this way. You can buy a couch for 1,000 that is comfortable, but you can also buy one for 10k that is jaw dropping.

I just orderd the B&W FPM 6s for the front and FPM 2's for the surround. From the reviews I have read about the PV1 it is very good, but I will be buying it becuase of the looks.

So, what is your impression of the <a href=http://www.bwspeakers.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/products.models/label/Model%20PV1>PV1</a>??? I like the styling much better than the ubiquitous "box sub" and the one <a href=http://www.hifichoice.co.uk/review_read.asp?ID=2809>review</a> that I was able to find was favourable.
