How does the midrange move? I've never seen a midrange without a surround.

I was considering buying the center to go with my 704s as the 700 series center is way to large for my system. So if you have any familiarity with the 700s I would appreciate your input. The B&W tech said the CM should be a much better match than a 600 series center. Anyway enjoy the speakers I might have bought these if they were around last year but I have enjoyed the 704s.

I had auditioned both the 704 and 703 - very impressive. They were being powered by a new NAD M3 (?). So, I am waiting for my new equipment to arrive to hear the CM7. I'm interested only in 2 channel audio so am not familiar with any of the center speakers but I would think that it best to stick with the 700 series.

I agree but the 700 series center is just to big. So looking for second best.
