I have a pair of B&W DM603 s3s as my main front left and right speakers and an LCR600 s3 as my center channel. I have NHT 1.3As as my surrounds. Plus a crappy subwoofer not worth mentioning (it's my next upgrade).
I've bi-wired and bi-amped the 603s and push the whole lot with a Pioneer Elite receiver that has 130 wpc... or is it 120 wpc??? I forget.
Anyhow, I have a pretty large listening room (my family room, kitchen, and dining area are essentially one large room that's open to the rest of the house). Anyhow, with the exception of the LFEs, I can use this rig to hit some pretty intense volumes, and they sound crystal clear and gorgeous.
I like having the power, but I have a big room. How big is your room? Sorry if you already stated how big it was.
My B&Ws have a sensitivity rating of around 89 db. But that's another thing to consider. Yours are rated a bit more sensitive at 90 db, so that's okay.
