Hello,

So since i got a few Harman Kardon (onyx and onyx studio) and a B&W A7, I got hooked to good sound system. I use it mostly for music only. But if i got the 802N, I would use for movies occasionally.

I came upon a B&W 802 Nautilus that are in good conditions and wanted to try as my first High Quality speakers.

The guy is selling for $7000 Australian dollars, which is about $5200usd. (at current rates)
Is that too big of a price for a speaker that he claims to be 8 years old?

Also if I did end up getting, I would need some advice on what to look out for on these speakers.
Also would need advice on AMP, cables, etc.

There are a few people interested and I wanted to know if its a good deal at that price considering the new 802 D3 just came out.

they seem to have kept their price in the last 2 years. I looked up at audiogon and they seem to be all on the $4999. Seems like you had a bargain in hands

$5K seems overpriced for 802N. 802D1 should be about $7K. 802N should be $4K. 802D2 around $9K.

Ohk. Well the seller doesn't want to go lower than $7k australian. Which is about $5.2k usd.
Maybe I just wait until he keeps lowering the price as no one buys.
It's hard to find these speakers in Australia for sale. It's first time I've seen in over 6 months looking for them.

Yeah. Selections are limited there . These speakers are everywhere in the USA. So you might not get lower than $4.5-4.7K USD there. Good luck.
