B&W 801 S2 Replacement Driver

There is a guy in my area selling a pair of B&W 801 Matrix S2 circa 1995. One of the bass drivers is blown according to the add. Looking around on the web I do not think B&W has replacement drivers any more for this model. Even if they did I would not be willing to pay their prices. Are there any aftermarket drivers that would work? I am assuming that I would need to replace the bass driver in both speakers to keep sonic integrity between the speakers.

I do not need these speakers, but the price could be too tempting to pass up.

I'd try putting in a 'wanted ad' in Audiogon.com. Something like: "wanted used drivers from B&W 801 Matrix S2". With a speaker that age, there must be other broken ones."

I have a set of 801 series 80 and I couldn't get original tweeters for them unless I wanted to pay $250 each for tweeters that B+W said would work. I did some hunting and I found a guy that is well known for speaker rebuilding and especially for B+W's. His name is Bill Legall. Thanks for the help but it looks like someone else has already snagged these. Its probably for the best as I really did not have a need for them.
