Hi there. How does the B&W 683 compare to the Klipsch RP260F's?

I intend to run them through a Denon AVR X3200 receiver.

It will be a complete home theater system with the relevant centre, rears and sub?

Any opinions on these?

Depends upon budget...and your ears and eyes. The latest version of the Klipsch are their best effort so far and probably cheaper to buy than the B&W, and they (Klipsch) seem to have tamed the overly bright tweeter in the previous version. You may prefer one over the other on looks too as they both have their plus and minus with grills on or off. They are more similar with the grills on. With them off, the Klipsch has those coppery metallic drivers to show off, while the B&W has those Kevlar drivers.

Even though Klipsch exaggerates their sensitivity claims, they'll get louder on the same power than the B&W. Since you presumably already have that Denon receiver, this may be worth considering.

Klipsch has done a great job with the RP series ;). They will be easier to drive than the B&Ws. And since your also considering a full setup, ease of drive might be something to keep in mind since your using an AVR.
Sound wise, like mentioned earlier in this thread, depends on your taste and ears ;).
