I have never seen "b stock" to mean any functional flaws. Cosmetic only. Nevertheless, it wouldn't hurt to ask about what specifically makes any product b-stock. Can be simple and minor. and easily fixable or ignorable, or could be a major blemish that will always bug you. Better to know specifics on the front end.

I suggest the IQ5. Better midrange, cheaper, lighter and great to pair with a sub.

The iQ 6 is one of the best centers out there IMO.

For surrounds there are 2 primary options.

KEF eggs(2000 or 3000 series) Or iQ8 dipoles. I personally use 4 Kef eggs. But the iQ8's are nice. I got my eggs for far below retail.

My experience with b stock is that it's cosmetic only. A buddy bought Axiom b stock speakers and they were perfect as far as we could tell.
Call them on the phone, they'll tell you what their version of b stock is.
By the way, I saw iq7's somewhere recently, cheaper than iq5's. Sorry but I can't remember where.

I can vouch for Iq5's too. I have a pair, needed smaller towers and front ported for a built in. I was surprised at how well they performed for the money. I got the Iq2C for center. It is kind of a minimalist center speaker, but that room we mainly use for music or tv dvds, so it servers it's purpose well.

For all I know B-stock is ONLY cosmetic and comes with the same warranty as the A stock but you better ask.

One call has the iQ7 on sale for half the price of the iQ70 as far as i know A stock has any one head the 7's and 9's do they sound a lot different? and thanks to all for the info!

Sorry I haven't heard any of the Kef's you're looking at but I understand they are highly thought of. I see a couple of the guys here like the 5's.
If you're thinking about IQ7's, Accessories4less has like new in open box for $499 w/free shipping. I haven't really considered 7's, but at that price I might have to give em a try.
Anytime I've bought refurbished or open box products or b stock, I've never been able to find a mark on them.
