Axiom M3ti or M2ti's in tile room-Gene's comments holding me back

SBF1, Did you win anything in Atlantic City? As much as I love my Athena mains and center (I just ordered a new P-6000 sub), I'm not taken with their bookshelves for my room. The look isn't what I want on the wall and I really don;t like drilling them for a bracket. I'm Considering the Paradigm Atoms or Titans (Titans are a little bigger than I want). Or I might just give the M2ti or M3ti's a try and see if the couch/rug/stuffed armchair offset the tile enough let the speakers show well.

Any additional feedback appreciated.

No the wife and I didn't win. Not big gamblers just something different to do. My wife took me there for my B-day. Dinner, comedy show etc.. We had fun though.

I understand about the Athenas. I figured that but other than the look it's your best bet.

I like Paradigms. I'm looking at the monitor and studio lines. I thought the titans sounded nice, I didn't listen to the atoms.

Some consider the Athenas to be "bright" even though the have a soft dome tweeter. If you like the way they sound then I'm not sure your room is as bad as you might think. Your heart wants the Axioms form the way it sounds so order the m2ti's. They have a great return policy and the most you can lose is the return shipping but you'll gain comfort in the fact that you will know that they did or didn't work out.

Happy B-day. Sorry you didn;t win, but hope you had a great time. I don't find my Athena F2's bright at all, and bright speakers give me a bad headache--usually quickly. You are right that I like the styling on the Axioms. It really suits the house, and they are going to be in a very visible position. I guess I should give them a try. Any thoughts on the M2ti vs M3ti?
