I am in the market for cables that when I upgrade to separate components (i.e. pre-amp, amp, tuner) won't need to be upgraded. Has anyone tried the axiom rca interconnects and speaker cable? Would they be a good choice? Or if you have other companies in mind, let me know. I am, however, on a fairly strict budget so please keep price in mind.
thanks for your input. ;)

How much are the Axiom cables?

Maybe you should consider cables from www.partsexpress.com,
the recommendations from this board's cable recommendations,
WalMart, Home Depot, Target or local electronics store?

Saying you're on a strict budget doesn't help unless you say what it is- strictly under $20, or strictly under $2000? ;) Zu makes some nice looking, well terminated cables that are pretty cheap (check out their Disco ICs & Firemine Coax).

Thank you for the replies. I cannot spend more than $400 for cable and interconnects if that helps any more. As far as Axiom's cables go, they are in my price range, but was wondering if anyone has tried their stuff and could tell me how it performs. I am not stuck on Axiom, but the product will have to provide great bang for the buck. I will look into Zu as well. In answer to the dollar amount of axiom's stuff, follow the links below:
