Unless Onkyo can come up with something good, the Yamaha 663 will clean house with the sales.

I think the Yamaha will be the go to choice for a receiver. Similar to the Pioneer 1015 was in 2005.

i agree with you on that!

Onkyo does have the 705 and 805 to fall back on. For the price, not too many other recievers can compete feature-wise.

Don't get to ahead of yourself, the VSX-1018 is soon to come. Only thing it seems to be missing is the DSD over HDMI. We can expect the RX-V663 to do DSD over HDMI as the RX-V661 also does this.
