Audyssey or velodyne's program for sub correction

Hello all, I'm new to Audioholics and home audio, as this is my first post. My question is about setting up my speakers .Do I run Audyssey (Denon 4311CI) first then my subwoofer's(velodyne Optimum 12) correction program? Or do I run audyssey withought the sub connected, then the sub? I'm not sure how to do it correctly although I would guess correcting the sub with velodyne's setup after audyssey is not right.

Thanks!

If you ask Audyssey, it would be the Velodyne first. That's what I would do, and after both are done, you can still fiddle some more with the Velo for personal preference. Of course, best to write down the before/after on the Velo. (You go back to the before setting when rerunning Audyssey.)

Have the velodyne correct the major issues first, then run audessey setup with the corrections in place and see what it does.
