Hi there.

I am very interested in one of the 55" samsung LED tvs from the audioholics store. The price is amazing, plus no taxes and no shipping fees.

The only problem is that I am a bit skeptical because I've never done business with Audioholics before. Also, I called the 1-877 number to speak with a sales representative, but all I get is a voicemail. I left a message 2 days ago but no one has returned my call.

I was wondering if any of you had any experience with the Audioholics store and if you would recommend it.

Or should I just pay the extra $300 and get it from Best Buy?

Thoughts?

I've placed about six orders through them and have had no serious issues, only problem I encountered was when the gramma pads went out of stock, I wasn't notified and ended up calling them to find out it's whereabouts. Other than that they have been fast and reliable, plus their free tech service, shipping and warranty are a big bonus.

Just ordered a Oppo BDP-83 from them. They shipped it out the next day.

In my experience, the e-store people are terrific and are quality service oriented.

I think the issue you may be experiencing has to do with, A: out-of-stock items due to manufacturer delivery shortfalls; B: Holiday gift buying caused order backlog (to which A: also contributes); and C: some e-store staff being unavailable while attending CES to make sure you can get the best, newest, and coolest gear.

These are good people who are knowledgeable about A/V products, care about the customer, and offer competitive, sometimes superior pricing and liberal return policies.

All that said, if you want it RIGHT NOW, go to your friendly, knowledgeable Best Buy and spend away. ;)

Same question here

I was wondering the same thing... I ordered a TV LG 47LH55TV last week only to be told it's on back order. Here is the note: "I'm very sorry for the delay. The 47LH55 TV is still back-ordered at the LG distributor. I do not yet have a firm ETA for availability, but most models are expected next week, and will ship directly from the distributor instead of to our warehouse first. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Why would they still have it listed for sale on their website while it is on back order?

I've sent several other inquiries to see if there were any updates but to no avail.

I'm really having my doubts and wonder if I, too, should have paid extra at a big box store.

Ive never seen a retailer remove products from advertisement or display do to backorder or low inventory. The AH store conducts business as all do, with some extra benifits

Something that I like about sites is when they indicate if they are out of stock of an item and provide an estimate of when things will be available. Right now, the AH Store says that TV usually ships in 24 hours. Now, that could still be entirely accurate because it "usually" does, but it happens to be out of stock at the moment. I like how Amazon and others do it, in that they keep inventory of their stock and report when there is low stock and when they are out. Perhaps the AH Store could begin to do that. Good communication is part of a great shopping experience to me.

Big box stores routinely display items they don't have in stock. The only real difference is they can give you an option of driving to another location to pick it up or.
They responded with a polite and sincere email explaining the situation along with an apology. So IMHO they haven't done anything wrong.
Personally $300 is worth waiting a week.

I was very happy with my purchase with them. I ordered a power conditioner that was about $200 cheaper then I could find anywhere else. I was a little skeptical at first but when it showed up about 5 days later I could not have been happier. Plus in your situation you could save the 300 bucks and go buy a PS3 with it!!!:D
