Man, I guess I'm getting old because these girls look so young.

I'll be 39 in a couple of weeks. My wife just turned 40 so I always give her crap for the 2 weeks that she is 2 years older than me. She always loves her birthday and I seem to mourn them.

Wait till you hit the big 40. When that happens, there are no more 30's. This is why I hung on as long as I could to 40, but I am now 41. It does not hurt near as bad as when I turned 40. To be honest, I don't look forward to my b'days any longer. Just wished they would stop.

I could see the begining of the end at 29. That put 30 right around corner and that may as well be 40 cause 22 is gone for good. At 22, 18 and 19 year old girls still could happen and they could keep happening for another few years. At 29, not only has that ship sailed, it ain't comming back. You may as well just start going to Bingo Night at 29.

Why not? The alternative is a half day out with the undertaker. At 61 I celebrate birthdays more than ever, especially since I dodged a few bullets lately.

No real big reason I suppose. The 40 hit me harder than any other. It is amazing how time goes by. Now I understand when people say life is too short. Did not intend to offend anyone. I am glad that you are full of life. Kudos to you.
