I couldn't resist hawke's offering for the Axiom Epic 80 system. Therefore, my complete Athena Technologies Audition Series setup is for sale. Consisting of:

Mains: (2) AS-F2's (1 yr. old)
Center: (1) AS-C1 (1 yr. old)
Surrounds: (2) AS-B2's (1 mo. old)
Sub: (1) AS-P400 (2 Mo. old)

All speakers are in absolutely pristine condition. I bought them all from Audio Advisor for total cost of $1430.

Sale price: $843.

Buyer to pay actual shipping charges in original factory boxes.
Buyer to pay via bank check/money order or personal check. Personal check must clear before shipment.

I will try, but first let me say that I am just an enthusiast and not a qualified A/V reviewer by any stretch of the imagination.

The Axioms sound a little "different" than the Athenas. To be expected coming from different companies. To me, they both sound great and both have exceptional build quality. For me to comment on characteristics such as "soundstage" or "brightness" would be nonsensical, as I am completely unqualified to do so. I realize these comments are of very limited value to you, but I would suggest a visit to BestBuy, if available in your area ,to listen to the Athenas. Although the auditioning environment there is poor, perhaps you could get some idea if the Athenas were pleasing to you.

It looks to me as if you are a year late on making your offer. Could be why he hasn't responded.
