Athena LS Series

Has anyone heard or seen these new Athena Technologies LS Series speakers?
I'm still fighting WAF on our upgrades, so I was browsing speakers and such at work, and ran across these at OneCall.com

They seem to be a more "refined" line to their speakers. The parts seem to be a new approach to them, I found them interesting and thought I would share. With all the great reviews I've read about Athena speakers, and the price of these, I think they will do well, and may have to try some.

The tweeters and woofers are from the Energy C series. I've heard those and found them to be quite good. When I can afford it, the C series will replace my current surround speakers.

Has anyone heard these yet? I'm thinking of buying some of the older Athenas (F1.2, C1.2, B1.2) but I might hold off if these are significantly better; or might hurry up and by the older models before I can't find them.

The LS models look nicer IMO.

Don't buy the .2 line. Wait for these, they're going to be better. If they're anything like the C-series (which they sure look like) they should stomp the old Audition line.

I take it that that also means that these won't timbre match the old series either? Doesn't really matter, I only have the center channel anyway.

I don't know where to audition them, but they look intriguing. If they can match the excellent performance/price ratio of the AS series at their (considerably) higher price point, they could be real heavyweight contenders.

From the look of it, I would say they are the Energy C series with different shaped cabinets. I viewed the Energy up close this week and based upon the pictures I have seen of them (close ups) they look like the same thing. Pricing will be about the same as the audition perhaps a bit more.
