PM me if you're in the market for a certain AVR. I'll find you the best legit deal online. For $750, you can obtain stellar highend performance at a fraction of the original price. It just takes some homework.

they also only accept bank tranfers.

Legit place would not do this. Credit card would be the norm:eek:

Where did you find the Onkyo SR604 for $260??
Best I found was $355 on a e-bay store.

My vote goes to # 9, the Yamaha RX-V2700.:D If you had to spend under $500 I would suggest the Yamaha 659.

Is HDMI a concern for you? If it is what features do you need from HDMI, meaning just switching or do you want audio capable HDMI, up-conversion, up-scaling?

Seth=L, try to read a little bit before posting. :)
I did, I was just doing it in the way of choosing a receiver, regardless of cost. That I why I ultimately suggested the Yamaha RX-V659, because it is under $500 in most places anyway. It only lacks HDMI.

i don't know if it's his source, but while looking at these two receivers myself, i came across xbstore.com, which has both for just under $700. however it looks increadibly shady, b/c everything they have is underpriced. such as a xbox 360 premium for $200. they also only accept bank tranfers.
that store is a scam i think. They have some logo's of ecommerce validation services that are not registered. I reported them to the services that validate them.
