Hi All. Just wanted to get your input regarding the DTC 9.8 vs Denon AVR 3808CI purely from a processing point of view. Which one is better musically and for HT?

Sorry I can't give you a direct compare but years ago I had the 3805 and used it a a prepro. It was passable for ht/music but I'm sure the DAC's have been upgraded since then.

I can say that I am thoroughly satisfied with the DCT 9.8 for HT as well as multi and two channel music. It supports all of the new HD audio formats plus has a really nice video processing section. I did a firmware upgrade to resolve some early issues (that I never actually experienced) but it has worked flawlessly since day one. I highly recommend this unit.

Thanks for the input. I guess I'm really leaning toward teh denon because of money issues because I'm gonna need an amp if I get the integra
