Are wooden speaker that have the built in speaker wire worth restoring and modifying?

I saw some old speakers, wood enclosures (I guess particle, mdf, or veneer (probably not real veneer)). They were Kenwood, but they were the kind of speakers that have the wires come out the back. They don't have the posts to attach your own wiring to.

Are these just junk? Worth getting because the enclosures? Thanks.

If you mean get rid of everything in them and basically just use the cabinet, sure. You can knock holes in it and add binding posts or a terminal cup. If you mean retain that stuff and try to improve them, I'd say not worth it.
