Hard to say without listening but they looks like Mordaunt-Short which i realy didnt like. They had extremly strong medium to high frequency.
Its 1st time i see this barand and i went thru quite lot of brands in last few weeks.

I bought a pair of TST1's for the family room not expecting a whole lot. Right out of the box the top end sounded a little thin. So, for the fun of it, I moved them into the HT room and hooked them up to my Marantz 8002/B&K 200wpc rig. Man, honestly, I was surprised at what a $200 pair of speakers could do. I mean, let's get real.. they're not in the same ballpark as my MA GS20's, but I was pretty floored. After a few hours of break-in, I moved them back to the family room and ran them back to my inexpensive Denon AVR.. and they still sounded pretty decent. Especially with what we use them for-- background music and TV.

I think they're a great buy for what they are.
