Are these any good as mains?

I am looking for opinions on these speakers. Will they work as mains? What do you think of this deal?

DEFINITIVE TECHNOLOGY BI-POLAR SPEAKERS I am selling a pair of high-end Definitive Technology BP-10 bi-polar speakers with a matching Definitve centre-channel speaker.

These are very large, 2-way floor-standing speaker with a woofer and tweeter on both the front and back of the speaker. These have very solid, well-braced cabinets measuring 42" T x 9" W x 11" D.

Definitive Technology is among the top brands making speakers in America. Their bi-polar designs are particularly popular. This set sold new for around $2000 in Canada. These have been well cared-for, and are in excellent condition.

I am selling the set for $625

Way too much money. I have bought 2 pairs of bp-10s on craigslist for 120 and 150..I sold them for 250 a pair so I think you should look around a little. Just my opinion.......

Have a pair of Paradigm Monitor 7's (Front Speakers $500) and a Paradigm CC-370 (Center Speaker $200). Will sell the package for $625 was asking $750. These are some kick *** speakers, unfortunately I have never had the space or nerve to put them to good use, so I am letting them go. WILL SELL SEPERATELY.

DefTech and Paradigm both make great speakers. You should get out and audition some different brands so you can get a taste of what you might like.
