Hello hope there is someone with good experience in both arc genesis and REW who can answer some questions i have been thinking about.
I have a anthem mrx 540 but i use minidsp to handle my 2 subwoofers. Before i do measurements in rew i remove arc settings from my device and change the crossover to highest possible and then i measure my subs. After that i add a high pass filter to minidsp before doing any EQ, then i run arc. When arc is done I'll change maximum correction in arc to 80 because i don't want arc to mess with my house curve.. First question is - is this the way to go or have i done something wrong? Second question is - how does high-Frequency Extension in arc work? On their website they saying that it has nothing to do with crossover? Why the curve in arc looks different when u change the High-Frequency Extension then? Where should it be set?
