I am looking at buying a set of good quaility cables and I would like some input. The set includes (3) S-Video, (2) Digital Optical, (1) RCA Audio/Video, (1) F video cable, and (1) surge protector. Which make of cable is better Acoustic Research or Dayton? I can get both sets for approximately the same price and Best Buy and Parts Express, respectively. Also, is the F video cable the same as the coaxial cable that comes out of the wall and into the digital cable receiver?

Whichever appeals to you the most :)
F video cable is a coax cable with the F type connector, nothing more.

While I'd hate to send to to BB for anything, you'll have to also weigh the shipping costs from Parts Express. You can walk out of BB with AR cables today, or wait a week to get you Dayton's and pay another 6 - 10 dollars for shipping.

The quoted price includes shipping from parts express. I guess if the quality is the same I will just go with the AR cables because I can get them the same day.
