Aperion Audio question

first off i want to thank this board because i won last months give-away. i won the 4BP surround set but since i thought it would be silly to have my surround speakers be better than my fronts and they were nice enough to let me switch and pay the difference so now i am getting some Intimus 5Bs. i am really excited about getting them. i have read alot of reviews and they all seem great. the only downfall that some have mentioned is the lack of low bass which shouldn't be a problem with my new hsu subwoofer. (thanks again to everyone who recommended it) So here is the question. i might upgrade to the 6s before my first year is up because of Aperionaudio's great tradeup program. From what i have read i should keep the fronts and the center channel from the same company to have the same tone/sound. my question is do i need to have all of them from the same model. i want the 6's because i like listening to my music loud (when everyone is out of the house:rolleyes:) and have it clear and sounding good. For movies i dont think i need that much speaker as the 6C compared to the 5C. is this ok to do? 6B's and a 5C center channel? I really wasn't planning on getting any of my nicer audio equipment until i do the addition to my house but with my old sub breaking down and having to buy the HSU and now me winning these it seems like it is all starting sooner than expected. who knows, i might be happy with the 5B's but after the addition the room will be pretty 28'X45'X9' combo kitchen/family room so i think the 6's will be necessary. Once again a big thanks to the board and Aperionaudio for this great gift.

Congratulations on your recent win. I'm jealous.
I currently have the 6T's and use a 5C for center. I have not had any issues or noticed any difference between the speakers. Aperion takes pains to timber match their speakers so there should be very little to no noticeable difference between a 6B and 5C. I do have a different brand for surrounds, and I can notice a difference with those in video games when I swing around and move voices to different speakers, but I never notice it with the front 3. Also, depending on what order you get the speakers, you always have the chance to return them within 30 days for free, or upgrade within that year.

I wanted to win those...:). Aperion timbre matches the speakers so no problem in that dept. I really enjoy my 6Ts for music and ht use.

I kind of wanted to win them too, but then I decided I'd set my sites on this months instead. I'm gonna use my telepathic powers this time.
