Anyone watching the Tour?

I'm a huge cycling fan. The sprint stages have pretty much been as exciting as ever with Cavendish finally coming around. With the mountain stages coming, it'll be interesting to see what Lance can do.

I have been catching the highlights. I would love to see Lance get another win and then hang it up. Mountains are coming up and that is where he is going to have to kick it up a notch. He did good in the tour of switzerland finishing second and he says he is in better shape now. We shall see.

It has been in the 90's here in NH and I find it hard to ride in that kind of heat. However, I am going to get up early this morning and try to put in 25 or 30 miles myself. A friend of mine from IL was here last week and we put in some miles while he was here. I hate riding alone is my biggest problem. Much more motivating to ride with someone.

I just get the highlights. Looks like Lance won't be a contender. He still may though.

I finally saw some footage of the 2nd spill. He was really moving when he went down. Listening to his interviews, he said he just really could not recover from that wreck. It's been a brutal and very unlucky tour for the team... but that's just how it goes.

I'm stoked to see Andy Schleck take the stage yesterday. I think he's great for the sport. Contador still looks pretty strong, and his teammates are top notch as well. The mountains will shake everything out. I'm also anxious to see the sprinters have another couple of days later on. I'm wondering just how many stages Cavendish can win.
