Anyone using an HDMI Cloner? Recommendations ~$100-150 plz

I used to use a Happauge Colossus. They have newer versions that are much better than the original I had. They have an external USB version if internal card isn't what you're looking for.

My use case was recording live TV from my DirecTV receiver. DD audio and all.

Doesn't look like the Colossus supports HDCP.
The one I have doesn't. I guess they never added it.

Only other brand I know of is black magic design, but theirs are higher.

You could always use an hdcp stripper. I have some HDMI switches that do that with no side effects.

There's actually a very good chance I'll never use my Colossus cards or HDMI switches again. The ones I have stop at 1080i resolution though. Let me know if interested.
