My projector is almost 25+ feet away from my DVD player - do you recommend I use HDMI or component cabling?

I have heard that for distances over 15ft, HDMI cable quality diminishes greatly, and it is a noticeable difference- have any of you used long HDMI cabling?

Thanks!

There is no specification for maximum DVI/HDMI cable length. There is only a specification for the performance of the cable. Manufacturers must ensure that their cables, long or short, meet the performance spec. I regularly use 10m and 15m cables without problems. Check out these Monoprice HDMI cables - they offer them up to 100ft long.

I have an 8meter HDMI cable from DVI Gear - works great.
