Anyone tied the Cerwin Vega VE15Fs?

I have a chance to get a good deal on 2 Cerwin Vega VE15Fs and I was wondering if anyone has tried these before. I've used Cerwin Vega commercial speakers for years and they are really good, and based on that I'm guessing that these are good also, but you never know.

Thanks

No, but I did like my old RE-30s I used to have. CV makes good stuff for the money.

I don't think the new CV product stacks up against CV from 20 years ago. I've heard some of the new CV products, and to me, it sounded muddy.

I have in storage a pair of CV D9's. I recently purchased Paradigm Studio 100's, but I still love my D9's.

Turns out the speakers were the older models (E-315) and they are nice, big but nice. I bought them and I do recommend them, although in checking some other comments in other forums, as stated here also, the newer ones I mentioned in the topic of this post do not seem to be made as well or sound as good as these older ones. Luckily these were in great shape and had been well taken care of.

I do recommend the E-315s if anyone wants a good big speakers. I guess it's like Klipsch. I had the old K-horns and LaScalas and they were absolutely beautiful furniture and sounded fantastic, but the new ones look like an average mid-priced speaker and don't sound anywhere close to the old ones IMO (with one exception...I hated the old Heresy model...midrange and nothing else).
