Anyone know what Comcast is delivering?

Lately since I work from home, I've been playing the Comcast Jazz "channel" throughout the day. I have the Motorola DVR hdmi'd to my AVR. It says it's receiving PCM. I was just wondering if anyone knows what level of definition they are broadcasting.

I know Comcast is generally about as well regarded as Bose Acoustimass, but I'm pretty pleased with the service I get from them. Granted, I'm not the type of person that needs a lot of tech support. Ultimately, I get more channels and faster Internet than I would for the same price from Charter.

It's all a monopoly, though. If Google Fiber were an option, I'd probably be fine with OTA and Netflix. As things stand, Comcast is the least of the evils among my available choices.

No clue about OP's question, though. It's better than FM radio, in any case. *shrug*
