Anyone heard the Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 or 9.2 bookshelf speakers?

Does anyone own or has listened to the Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 or 9.2 speaker? The Diamond 9.1's had a great write up in last November's Stereophile, but there are no dealers remotely close to me (I'm not going to drive 8 hours round trip to go to a dealer to hear a $350/pair bookshelf!). A friend of mine who is a classical music lover wants me to get a system (for mostly music use) for his bedroom. His bedroom is pretty small, or probably average for a Cambridge, MA apartment! :D I'll get a small sub for it too. I'm just looking for the most accurate small bookshelf under $400 or $500 pair and would like some input from people who have listened to the Wharfedales.

AudioAdvisor carries them (and the Epos ELS3's too) and has a good return policy, so I might just have to order them to finally hear for myself and see what I think and send them back if they don't suit, but I'd like to get some comments from any of you first. I've heard the Paradigm Atoms, and feel that you can't beat the Atoms for the price (below $200/pair), but Stereophile favored the Wharfedales so I'd like to hear them to see what the fuss is about. I've listened to the B&W DM600 S3's too, and they weren't bad, but I just want to hear how the Wharfedales stack up.
Thanks,
Brad
