those are very intresting looking speakers, if you can give tham a listen let us know how thay sound.
there are a few singel driver speakers that have very good performance (like the Cain-Cain abby), and it may be worth it.
Someone on another thread I started gave me this link :
http://www.norh.com/products/norh3/index.html
showing that in fact the speaker shape had already been done by someone else. I had quick read through the various pages in the site and must say I was impressd to the point I may purchase from them instead. It depends on what sort of reply I get from the email I sent them. Iam also quite impressed by this one:
http://www.norh.com/products/pyramid/index.html

Just a complete departure from the usual rather boring oblong boxes

I did think the AudioDigit speakers looked a bit like the Crystal Acoustics Melody (http://www.crystalaudiovideo.com/product.aspx), but it's nice to see some companys looking into a shape other than a box.
Agan if thay come through for you, please give us a detaled write up on how thay sound.

Hmm. I hope the Pyramid speaker is dirt cheap, because the components that go into it sure are. The idea is nice, but I think that due to the design there would be some strange things happening with the frequency response. However, without seeing measurements, I cannot confirm my suspicions.

As they only fetch $250 obviously the components must be fairly cheap but that doesnt necessarily mean poor quality nor does it mean that expensive speakers contain better quality components. As in most things its mostly about perception and marketing .
