The choppy video problem usually goes away for me if I leave the video on pause for a few minutes/seconds before watching.

You may want to check your computers performance and/or network performance.

If you use Vista then just get a 8GB readyboost flashdrive from Office Depot for 20 bucks. When you plug it in Windows will pop up the option of using readyboost set it to the recommended 4096 MB size. What this does is move your Pagefile to the flash drive. Because memory is 1000 times faster than your hard drive paging once in every 1000 accesses makes your computer run 40 times slower. Yes that's 40 times slower. A Flash Drive runs at about the speed of memory at least in orders of Magnitude. So if you move that access to the Flash Drive your computer will run much faster.:D It is the cheapest way to upgrade performance. The other is to increase memory and or video card.

Nevermind,

ReadyBoost is a component of Microsoft's Windows Vista operating system. It works by using flash memory, USB 2.0 drive, SD card, CompactFlash or any kind of portable flash mass storage system as a drive for disk cache. ReadyBoost is present, with fewer restrictions than in Vista, in the beta version of Windows 7.

Yes and it can be done manually as well, but I don't suggest doing that unless you know what you are doing in windows.

It's really nice for multi-tasking at work:D

Office Depot is the place to go! Don't buy them online. I got mine in store like 20 bucks 8 gigs Verbatim.

Just wanted to point this out... With my current laptop, I shoved in my 4GB secure digital card and Windows gave me the option to configure for readyboost. After backing up and formatting the card, it was fully dedicated to readyboost. I wasnt expecting huge differences, and i was right not to, but it did help... app load time is considerably quicker. Happy about this for sure.. Couldnt get windows to use my WD passport though, I would like to if it can be used... tons of space and almost always plugged in...

That's because it's a hard drive. Windows can just as easily use the page file on your internal hard drive. Flash drives are much faster than hard drives.

Hulu saved me when I forgot to set the first episode of 24 to record in January. Since it wasn't on last year it never got into my DVR and 24: Redemption was a different title.

I hooked my PC up to my TV and watched the first episode and I was actually quite impressed with the picture quality. It was not HD but it looked very good except for a few motion issues.

24 is great so far this year, BTW. Much better than the last season two years ago.
