In the past days (on medical leave) I have been playing around with my system.
I did the following: Connected my Sony CD player to the tape 1 input in my Nec integrated amplifier (70 w/ch rms) that powers my Pyle passive subwoofer (mono mode, on speaker A, aux input), also connected a pair of old Technics 12" three way speakers to the spaeker B terminals. This way I am using my integrated amp for the subwoofer and as a stereo system for my CDs. I have also connected, in the tape 2 input, my second DVD player to listen to concerts in stereo mode. This DVD player is also connected to my A/V reciever via coaxial cable for 5.1 listening.
Anybody out there has done something like this???
