Any way to send Winamp playlist files to folder?

I build a lot of audio playlists in Winamp and I'm wondering if there's any way to copy all the files from a specific playlist and paste them into a new folder, so I can transfer that folder to an external drive or burn it to a CD without having to manually locate all the files. Anyone know?

The only problem with doing is that the text file is not automatically updated with the new pathway. I think you'll find that the copied files are not "valid" in winamp. I tried this with my Sansa Fuze and winamp and came across this problem.

So the only solution is to manually look up each file and paste them all into a new folder myself?

keep your music better organized so it isn't as much of a hassle finding each track next time :D

It's not really a hassle, it's just that I use Winamp to make playlists to listen to on the computer, and I just got a navigation system in my car that plays SD cards, so I want to transfer all my playlists onto the SD card so I can play them in the car, without them getting all jumbled up.

On the plus side, it's very easy to find where all your music is. Locate the playlist file that has all the tunes you want to move and open it up in Notepad. Inside the playlist file you'll see all the directory information for each tune.

The playlist file has an extension of ".m3u". An easy way to see where your default directory for the files is to go File -> Save Playlist As.
You can always do a search to see where they are stored using "*.m3u" as the search query.
