Any thought about this home theatre system currently at $200 of until June.20th

Any suggestions if this is a good home theatre in box system?

It is currently on sale in Canada for $200 off .. Total price is $599.99

Do you have a local Costco? I'd go give it a quick listen. Listening at a Costco is far less than ideal, but you will at least be able to get a fell for whether it is junk or OK for the price. The sub is likely to be the weak point.

These are available online only :-(
So will have to go by the specs.

Since it appears to be a component system, you would be able to upgrade the sub down the road if it isn't up to snuff. I am sure it will get you by for now

Costco also has a very liberal return policy. So you can try it out at your house and if you don't like it you can return it very easily. You can even return it to a local Costco so you don't have to ship it back.
