Any sub $3500 PJ's that can light up 150" 16:9 in a light controlled room?

Thanks.

The Epson 5050UB would produce the best image and would be fine lighting up an image that size and will deliver the best image, by a fair bit, over the others which are available. I've seen the 5050UB used on a 180" AT screen before and it did a very good job.

I don't know if this is legit but a site has the JVC DLA-X790R 4K for $3700 NIB. Should that be a consideration?

JVC lists the X790 brand new for $4,000 on their website. I thought it had been discontinued, so if someone has it new, then that's a good price. It may NOT have a JVC warranty as it may not be selling from an authorized vendor. Still, it's a solid model and will look quite good for the money. I use my X590R on a 161" 1.3 gain screen and it looks solid.

Depends on your definition of “light up”. :D

Depends on what you are accustomed to.

And if it’s a lamp-based PJ, the brightness will decline and it will seem like the replacement OEM lamps just aren’t as good.
