I have DVI from Voom STB to TV. I have component from DVD to TV. I'm thinking of running component from Voom and component from DVD to Marantz SR7300 receiver, then component from Marantz to TV (No DVI on Marantz). Will there be any noticable signal loss or change in PQ? If I do this, my wife won't have to worry about the source the TV is getting, and I can decommission the TV remote, since all I'll need is On/Off for the TV.
Do I need pricey component cables (I have a set of AR and a set that came with Voom, need 1 more), or can I go pick some up at Hell*Mart or use RCA patch cords?
