I was thinking of these with the OS3 sat's and OS3 center but have not found a lot of info yet except a review here. Went to listen to them at a local BB retailer but hard to judge with all the racket going on in the store.

Some other reviews on the web

Can't imagine that the OS3s are much different from the V2s, and with the V2s selling at half price or less you might want to consider them. Better match too with the FS. Crutchfield, Vanns or One Call.

v2 Satellites

I have the v2 satellites and lovet them. Just have to have a sub with them but nowadays that is the norm. Great soundstage and presence.

Thanks for the input but I was wondering if anyone on the forum had a chance to have a experiance with the FS model? All the info I have found so far has been third party or proffessional reviews.

The v2 FS are pretty good towers. If I didn't get a good deal on another set of Mirage's (OM9's), I would have bought them. Just make sure you let them breathe. They need at least a foot of room from the back wall. I would still recommend you listen again before you buy. Mirage speakers have a sound that some people love and others don't.

Thanks Tiguron. I am waiting for BB to get them in so I can take some music(Eagles DVD,Saving Priv. Ryan DVD, some Jazz, and SRV Blues) to give them a try out. I am looking for a expansive, full definitive sound field at low volume. Then of course there's the once in a while Crank it up:)
Thanks again to all I realy appreciate your input as the speakers are the first upgrade then the reciever to match them to.

If you want an expansive sound field then Mirage is a good choice. With the exception of bass I was amazed at how close the v2's were to the OM9's. Part of me still wishes I had gone with the v2's. They are a nice looking speaker that easily disappear into the room.

Thanks for the input Tiguron. The VS2 FS do look to be a pretty good deal right now as the new OS3 FS has come out there are some heavy discounts going on. The two look to be very simular except for the number of speakers. Do you know of any informative web sights with Mirage owening members? I am going to listen to them this weekend whereever I have to drive! I do have a Mirage sub for bass already. I love the sound it gives.

Try miragespeakers dot com , but don't expect too much forum activity. The site is good for product info, but the forums are very quiet. I haven't found a great forum that has a lot of Mirage owners.
