Hey all, I'm a college student and I work part time for an A/V company so I have access to certain lines (that we carry and thru mkting reps) at a substantial discount, so I am limited in what I can look at. I already have a slamming HT (B&K AVR307 with Mirage Omnipolars) but I am looking to invest in a dedicated 2ch system.

For amplification, I think I will go with B&K separates, but my issue is with speakers. We carry Vienna, but I can't afford the Beethovens and the Mozarts don't have the bottom end that I am looking for. We also carry Martin Logan, but I am not a big fan. The tweets on the Sonus Faber's we carry are a little harsh for me. We just picked up Polk's LSI line and they got a killer write-up in TAS, but I guess I don't hear what TAS did.

I would like to look at the Dynaudio Audience 82 and the MB Quart Vera VS 1F (both list around $2500), but there are no showrooms around me, I'll have to wait until I hit NYC again. I think I can access B&W, but I'm not familiar with their line at all.

If anyone has any experience with or thoughts about these speakers, I'd love to hear them.

Thanks for taking the time to look at this.
