The matching center costs 500 though. But a 2c would still do ok as a center.

I suggest you go bookshelves and look at a 3 piece svs set they usually come with stands. Very good deal IMO. And they wouldn't break the budget.

I think at your price point you won't find tower fronts and a center that make a very good sound stage.
