Right now I have the R30s as mains with the CSi25 center. I got them years ago for a ridiculous deal ($88 for the pair of R30s and $75 for the CSi25).
I just ordered a CS2 center, which is supposedly significantly better than the CSi25. It seems close enough to the R30s that timbre won't really be an issue. I have the bug, though, and I'm wondering if the Monitor 50 (matching towers for the CS2) would be noticeably better than the R30.
Has anyone compared the R-series to the Monitor series?
