Any Athena S3 owners here?

These are older generation Athena bookshelf speakers (predates the current Audition series). Am wondering if anyone here has owned or auditioned these speakers before? Any first hand experience to share? Thanks!

I had a pair of S1 with a P3 Sub. Finally upgraded the speakers to PSB but I am still using the Sub. My brothers still use S1.

The S1 is a good book shelf. The only weakness it had was at higher volume levels, the speker would lose all mids. But, they are bookshelf speakers thats what they do. But for a starter package, loved them. It was money well spent.

I actually have the Athena AS-B1s. Saw the S3s somewhere for $200/pr so am curious how they sound compare to the AS-B1s.

I would keep the B1s. Unless you need the extra bass, you should be ok.
