I'm not sure what your asking as the title is confusing.

Receivers are not computers. I don't know what you mean by motherboard. I suspect you mean the processing board. You can't go swapping boards from different receiver models. Even when you change a motherboard in a computer, more often than not there are other changes that have to be made.
