I'm posting this only becuase I"ve never seen so many unrecognized brands before, espcially in the loudspeaker and turntable market. As far as quality of reviews go, I can't comment. Just lots of pretty pictures from equipement manufactuers I've not heard of before.

Isn't clipping defined as 1% distortion so how could it stay below 0.1% up to 1%?

I think you might have to take two. It doesn't say if it's a mono, stereo or multi channel amp. I really don't get a mono amp w/165w and .1% distortion for $100K or $50K on sale.

Oh my... the following is taken from THIS review on that site.

My initial impression of the Verdi was that it lacked the emotion of the Windigo, so I guess the cost of emotion is $550 since that is how much more the Windigo costs than the Verdi. Emotion isn't the only area in which the Windigo trumps the Verdi, but I found the Verdi to be detailed with good bass and a clear open midrange. Although the midrange can sound a little metallic at times, the background was coal black and the whole presentation was balanced top to bottom with a good sound stage, width and depth. Impressive.

Emotion? Coal black background? Metallic mid range? From cables? Seriously?

I couldn't get past the 1st reveiw because of all of the subjective crap they were throwing in there. I was looking at it in terms of being a book with pictures..."once upon a time... andthey all lived happlily ever after"

They are probably great (my standards) with that sub (way better than mine).

I dug this quote out of that review:

I did stumble on some measurements for one of the reviews. It probably varies by reviewer. Secrets of Home Theater is like that, too.

At least they admit that pro gear exists.
