I am looking to replace my Def Tech powerfield monster sub that has ruled the corner of my living room for many years now. I really need to down size so I am looking for something with a footprint smaller than 12". I haven't been in the HT speaker scene for about 2 years now and I really don't know the makes/models like I used to. So, I need some help in finding my next shake and baker.
I am a long time Def Tech fan and really like the sound from the supercube III. I know there are more/"better" choices in the same price range $800< with a footprint 12"<. I know about the Velodyne microvee and minivee subs but I have not heard them.
Let the opinions/recommendations flow.
