I was wondering if there is a noticeable difference between DVI and component inputs. I did some research and have found no real answer so I am throwing out to the pros that have tried and seen both on a single display.

it really depends on the display, some displays accept higher resolutions thru dvi than component, but technically speaking no

On a pixel type of display device, not crt, you skip a video signal conversion from digital to analog. Screen size can matter along with the digital signal resolution, 480i 720p or true 1080p.
