Another issue with HK 254

Okay, so now I am hearing loud popping noises when switching from standard def. to high def. channels. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, will updating the firmware correct this? I am really thinking about returning this thing for a refund and ordering the Marantz 5003. Thoughts?

Try the FW update. If that doesn't fix it, you might have a dud.

HK has very good CS and warranty programs. So try the firmware update and if that doesn't fix it send it in immediately.
