Another Craigslist Find

I plead guilty for buying off of Craigslist _and glad I did this. I just purchased a Yamaha HTR-5940 for my main system. I paid $75. It's replacing my Onkyo TX-SR503. The surround and subwoofer channels were frequently failing to switch on. O.K. That problem fixed. But, the Yamaha's sound quality and set up flexibility is far better than what the Onkyo was. I guess I should have expected that since I have a Yamaha HTR-5830 on the office sound system. The Onkyo will serve in the basement sound system.

True. I didn't think about that at first. I just wanted something that worked properly. Now, the holiday music will sound better.

Yep. At that price, I could not pass up this Yamaha HTR-5940, because I needed to fix this problem. It really fixed the problem which is the main thing. To me, the Yamaha sonically outperforms the Onkyo. That caught me slightly off guard.
