Congrats guys. I've only been here 6 years but started reading the reviews in 2012 or so. I should have become a member back then. I actually purchased my HK 3490 receiver after reading a nice review here and a few other places. BTW, it is still performing flawlessly, Thanks Gene!

I was a young man when I joined. Didn't have a lick of grey back then. Now I own a cane.

It'll be 18 years come the end of December.

I had bought my first rec'r about a year prior to joining and needed to know stuff.

We should have a talk with Gene.
I stopped wearing a wristwatch a good many years ago when it did a job on my wrist, so I stopped. Never put it back on. Now I just use my iPhone, more precise.

I met mtrycrafts at another forum, Audio Review. It was bought by new owners who quickly ruined it. Mtrycrafts talked me into joining AH where he had recently joined.

At the time, others also turned their backs on AR, to come here. But I don’t remember who they were. However, I’ll always be glad that mtry talked me into coming here.

Did not realize how long ago I signed on to this site, December 2005. I was trying to figure out the hum noise from My 1st Marantz Pre/Pro AV7005 I think, it was so very long ago. 19 years in a few months.
