If you were allowed to file a class action suit against some of those companies for fraud, I guess a great many of those snake oil products would go away. But they are slick in their advertisement, very iffy to sue. One can fight against the likes of Monster cable claiming idiotic copyright infringements as if monster xxxxx is infringing on monster cable. Many give in, a few fights back like Blue Jeans Cable did.
