I think you're better off looking at completed sales on ebay or other sales sites for specific gear than just posting random opinions. Then again, I never sell anything so don't care what it's appraisal is.

That's why I'd do as suggested....gives a real world idea of what someone is paying for such. You'll take a depreciation hit for sure, half wouldn't surprise me.

Why I find other uses for gear like this rather than sell it (and the hassle of selling it, particularly where I live)....rather put it in other rooms or maybe even with friends/relatives who could use some audio help :) Some gear holds value better but tends to be much more expensive gear than a lower end avr....and looking a bit on ebay I think you could perhaps do slightly better than EverettT's suggestion but not by a lot....using it I'd think would be a better option.
